MS café by Wunderteam





Polish design studio Wunderteam have completed a café with a faceted wooden bar, situated on the ground floor of the Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz, Poland. Called MS Café, the space features mobile wooden booths on wheels. The bar itself is made of wooden triangular planes with back-lit plexiglass panels. Click HERE for article at dezeen.com.

UK Pavilion at Shanghai Expo 2010 by Thomas Heatherwick





Called Seed Cathedral, the wooden structure is pierced by 60,000 fibre-optic rods that each contain plant seeds at their tips.

Alessi Store - Asymptote



Alessi Flagship store in New York city by Asymptote architects. The site was too big for retail so the space incorporates and Expresso bar (to encourage passing trade). Also look at the Carlos Miele store by the same architects!
